The Lezards are travelling round Europe in their van for a year. Asked what their plans were, they replied:

Only the Washing Up!

We’re home!

We made it! What a year! It’s great to be back, though – we all had a fantastic time at Tolpuddle. It was great to see so many dear friends there, and we’re looking forward to catching up with more friends at home in the next day or two.

Ruth’s downstairs having a cup of tea with Bobbie and Jo, Charlie and Billy are playing with Ella, Joel, Daniel and Rosanna, while I’m upstairs getting egged by Daniel and fighting with car insurance companies. Welcome home!

Further reflections to come . . .

  1. Was great to see you guys over the weekend… So glad your all back safe and sound with loads of amazing memories and thanks for taking us on the journey with you..xxxx
    Di and Siany…

  2. Good to know that you are back at Wanswell and catching up with everyone. Look forwards to hearing from you when you get time.
Any plans for the next trip yet??
    Love from Bumpa and Gran

  3. Welcome home. Just in time to sort out Murdoch and the met. PS nice holiday? Where was it again – costa brava this year?

  4. Tired? Happy?
Planning a new trip? :-) (Tim, Union beer is waiting for you :-)

  5. aha…I finally found you. Diane here from Paddy Nash & The Happy Enchiladas – we met at Tolpuddle. I have mislaid your card and we have finally slowed down enough in the past few days that I can start to follow up with some of the lovely people we met over the past month. I remembered your blog was something to do with dishes and it took me an hour to find it!! It was lovely to share my cider with you and your friend (the one standing in for you while you were away galavanting). Glad I didn’t drink it by myself as the first one had already altered the landscape which wasn’t sitting plumb anymore!! Great blog by the way and I will look further back later. Well done to you all – what courage and a reminder to the rest of us to seize the day!! By the way Paddy is touring with Billy Bragg now (solo) in October in Ireland – 6 of the dates I think. How flippin great is that?? Anyway, good luck settling back into the bends and curves of the everyday…. best wishes, Diane
